Ok, what I meant was that Willow likes a situation to be under control and doesn't like things to be complicated. She also doesn't like people being upset so she likes to fix that sort of thing too.

I don't think Willow is "controlling" I think it's more an inability to deal with complicated situiations. Surely she doesn't tell Xander because it's easier for her to resort to short-cuts than to try and tackle the problem. I guess that applies to season 6 as well. This isn't Willow being mean or controlling - it's Willow not being confident enough to manage her life. Poor Cordy...
