I'm envious that the show is released in widescreen format in Britain, but I'm not envious that everyone's voices are a little bit higher.

I realise that I am in a minority regarding the fight. It just doesn't work for me.

However, I can't argue with seeing it metaphorically since all BtVS is metaphor.

I didn't like the fight either but although this is a television show I felt that it was pretty true to life. Couples fight sometimes, it's an unfortunate fact of coupledom and they fight about the stupidest and most random things sometimes...

I find a lot of metaphor in the relationship between Tara and Willow. The most pronounced, in my opinion, was Willow's dream in Restless. But this fight I think in the grand scheme of things was a metaphor (and a pretty obvious one) for how people change in a relationship. Bad things happen when you expect your partner to continue to be the same person they were when you met. People change and couples have to adapt to those changes or learn to work through them.
