This blog is supposed to be about all sorts of things but, shall we say, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a minor interest of mine.

The episode where Willow expresses her fear of horses is "Where the Wild Things Are".

A spear comes through the window and poor old Giles is skewered except he isn't because it bounces off the seat beside him in a rather poor moment of programme making.

“Horsies!” cries Tara as she looks out of the window of the Winnebago. She may have actually seen a shark and a ramp.

HA! You're awesome, Hazel.

The Knights of Byzantium are lame. LAME.

It didn't occur to me that Willow's plea for the horses was a continuity error even though she express a fear of horses in, um, oh crap. The episode in which Buffy and Riley do it a lot while Willow can't even touch Tara's knee. I thought she was afraid of riding horses but didn't want them to necessarily die. I have to say the "Don't hit the horsies!" "We won't! Aim for the horsies" did make me giggle. Because sometimes I'm cheap.

I've watched this episode I don't know how many times and I still have yet to see where Giles is injured. There's just a scene cut and he's being hauled into the abandoned building while bleeding.

Laughing out loud at the use of the word "be-flannelled." This was truly an episode (two, actually) of badness in the wardrobe department.

Yep, I have to concur on pretty much all of your points. Especially the priests=way stupid idea. I did love the concept of Buffy shutting down and reliving in her mind the moment when she gave up. Somehow I relate to that internal trauma.

Another stellar review.
