Everyone looked bad. I suppose they were only differently insane than the early seasons - I remember Buffy wearing shirts as if they were dresses, although she looked better by season 2. I’m not sure the costume department hated <i>just</i> Amber (because Willow’s outfits were as often vile) but they were certainly trying their hardest to make her look frumpy next to the others. Everyone who meets her in real life seems to remark on how tiny she is but I think what they mean is how tiny she looks compared to how she was made to look in <i>Buffy</i> .
