I haven't rolled my eyes at corniness and cliche so much for a long time - and when Spidey flew in front of that flag I wanted to poke them out! Any review really ought to have the words "toe-curling" in it. I'm sure I'm losing my sense of humour because I thought Blandings (which I'm sure I loved years ago) was nothing more than OK and the occasional smile couldn't make up for the annoyances.
