Anyway - I share your opinion, almost word for word, of this movie. I watched it and then lent it to my SIL, who is not a big analyzer of plot or character, and she HATED Jennifer Garner's character - considered her uptight and snobby. That just blew my mind, because I felt like her character had to be a little uptight because she was married to a child, and clearly had to be the responsible grown-up, and was also obviously in a lot of pain over her inability to conceive.
