This blog is supposed to be about all sorts of things but, shall we say, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a minor interest of mine.

So close!
Love the beginning and end scene, too, for W/T. Though it's heartbreaking, knowing what comes next. :(

First, my guess unaccompanied by any barbs: "Your shirt."

Second, I agree that Tara taking Willow back does seem unprecedented, but not so much because of their previous relationship baggage. Sometimes you take back a partner before all of the problems have been mended and you trust that you will be able to work things out. But because Anya intrudes on Willow and Tara's coffee date, I feel like there needed to be one more scene with Willow and Tara or maybe just Tara and someone else that made more explicit that Tara was leaning toward getting back together with Willow. In the two scenes that were included, Tara seemed, as she has, that she wants to get back together with Willow but is unsure if they are ready. It would have been nice to see a more definite moment of, "Yes, we're gonna get back together."

But regardless I do like that in an episode of straight relationships crumbling and causing pain, the gay couple gets back together.

While I think Emma Caulfield does some excellent comedic acting with the wish montage, I have trouble finding it funny. I mean, "Hey, let's watch Anya prey upon everyone's insecurities so that they will wish their friend's penis will explode"? Hardly comedy gold. But "What kind of lesbians are you? If you love men so much, go love men!" -- that's hilarious.

I have trouble buying Spike and Anya sleeping together because despite what he says I doubt that Spike has really formed much of an opinion of Anya. I would have believed it more if it seemed more spontaneous.
