The telepathy, relying on Willow for magic (plus, didn't they look kinda silly just standing behind that bitty forcefield? I thought Willow'd at least do one around the house like she did in, um, "Spiral" was it? Season five), and Buffy having any reason to think she would do any better fighting the Uruk-hai this time around... It really was a terrible plan. Also, as much as I like Felicia Day on <i>The Guild</i> she pretty much just irritates me here. In fact, I was reluctant to watch <i>The Guild</i> because I thought, "God, it's one of those horrible potentials." So I don't think there's any coincidence involved.
